NOPD Firing Range

Project consists of the renovation of, and upgrade to the new Orleans Police Department Firing Range at 13400 Old Gentilly Road.  Selective demolition of inoperable or failing electrical systems, ballistic baffles, target systems.  The renovation reinvisions training activities that will allow for a static target line and multiple firing lines  achieved with new structural systems installed to support ballistic baffles as well as the recladding of existing vertical ballistic baffles.  New targeting systems and bullet trap, new electrical systems and lighting, smoke removal systems, ventilation fans and HVAC , interior improvements, recladding of exterior wood framed walls, finish upgrades, doors and hardware, environmental testing, soil encapsulation, new concrete slab, geotechnical barrier and new topping soils.
